Louisiana sucks. There's no getting around it.

I don't mean it in a derogatory, "I hate living here" way. For the most part, I love living in Louisiana. Louisiana has great food, interesting people and fun locations. When I say Louisiana sucks, I mean Louisiana sucks in a "quantitative" way.

In our final staff editorial of the 2007-2008 academic year, we at the Tulane Hullabaloo have a very clear message for the Administration: our community, students, faculty and staff all want to know what is going on behind the oak doors of Gibson Hall.

We do not know how to make that demand any more apparent.

As "The Dark Knight" made more than $160 million over the weekend, one can wonder what created the buzz for the film. Was it carried over from expectant fans who loved Heath Ledger's star turns in "Candy" and "I'm Not There," or could it be the result of Christian Bale's roles in "3:10 to Yuma" or maybe Nolan's "The Prestige"?
